When I first saw this video a few months ago, I immediately fell in love with it. Such pointed criticism delivered in such an innocent, wide-eyed way!! It's a gentle reminder that museums have a (long) way to go before the ideals of relevancy, public engagement, and transparency are achieved. Must viewing for all museum staff and boards!!

I posted it on my blog, but didn't include any commentary, so I'm really glad you did, Colleen.

Wasn't the creative team behind The Pinky Show at AAM this year?

When Jennifer posted this on Twitter, I had to RT it because I must watch this video at least once a week. I think it's such a complicated issue because most of the museum staffers I know are completely behind concepts such as accessibility, transparency, inclusion, but are often fighting upstream against an entrenched traditional museum culture. I think this video is worth repeated viewing not because each point is correct but, as you mention, it reminds those of us that staff museums of the collective goals that we should be working toward.
