Colleen, you and your post are so deserving of the best Brazen post of 2009!

I love the way you focus on non-profit organizations and your distinct voice and experiences sets you apart from others. Leaving your job in May (then writing about it) showed courage and also your ability to step outside of your comfort zone, be honest, but also talk about the future because recessions do end.

Thanks for the continual inspiration. Happy 2010 :)

Enjoyed reading about your outlook on education, and social issues. I personally wish I could do volunteer work full time! But unfortunately I haven't figured out a way to be able to support myself while doing so. I forward to reading more from you!

Congratulations on being named Blogger of the Year! Also, thanks for your vote and the link up top.

Community engagement and relationship building were major themes for me in 2009 (and continuing into 2010). In this year I've seen just how strongly public and private sector intertwine. Connections and opportunities abound.

Keep up the great posts, and Happy New Year!

Congratulations Colleen! You deserved to win this.

Some people were worried that this contest wouldn't be based on merit, but I think that someone with a lot of merit definitely came out on top. Best of luck with everything you do in 2010!

Have a Happy New Year!
